In the Studio and Out

A hole alert

I live in this apt. building in Brooklyn that has an entrance on the opposite side of the building and a  very long hallway that goes to my side of the building.  My apartment is at the complete end of said hallway. Sometimes it’s spooky walking down this shining hotel type walkway.  It’s really almost 70 or 80 yards.  Across the hall from me are some storage units that cause other building dwellers to adventure, rarely, down to my side of the building.

There is this one guy I see more often than others because I’m guessing he is a musician or something and stores equipment that he is frequently moving in and out.  I always smile and say hi when we are walking in opposite directions.  To this day he has never said hi back or even looked or acknowledged my presence. Imagine walking 70 yards toward someone down a narrow hallway and having this happen every single time over 3 or 4 years. Talk about awkward!  This morning I finally decided that he has a serious problem. So next time I see him in this context I’m going to try an experiment. I would really like to just stick my foot out and trip him. This could lead to assault charges  but at least I’m not flat out punching him in the face which is what his snooty little face requires.  I don’t know, maybe I’ll just verbally assault him by saying something like, “what’s up douchbag?” or “How’s your day asshole?” Seriously, I will do this.

Point is, some people just take up to much god damn space.
