The Brightest Star “Serius”  “The Dog Star”   I just happened to be standing in a place this past evening where I could see this star.  I took note. Then this morning my mother randomly posted something in her status on facebook about it so I spent about an hour reading various googled articles, legends and stories.   I found it very interesting that cultures separated by vast distance and time had so many common threads regarding this star most often related to wolves and dogs.  It suggests to me that we all have an ancient connection. Something worth more investigation no?  What does it mean?   I suppose everyone can take there own meaning from natural/cosmic occurrences. For me tonight it symbolized “teaching of loyalty.”
